Learning Goals & Objectives:
1. Participants will gain knowledge of EFT theory, goals, stages, steps and skills.
2. Participants will obtain knowledge of Attachment theory and how it is applied in EFT couple therapy.
3. Participants will have an understanding of how to develop a safe and secure alliance with each partner in the couple which is necessary to be effective using the EFT model.
4. Participants will learn skills to use in their practice to help couples begin to identify and to de-escalate their negative interactional cycles.
